Prof. Mahesh Sonawane


Mr. Mahesh B Sonawane is currently working as Assistant Professor in School of Civil Engineering of Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. He had registered for PhD program at VJTI, Mumbai. He is going to submit PhD thesis in January 2020. He had recived BE (Civil) and M E (Civil- Building Science & Technology) degrees from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon,in the year 1998 and 2008 respectively. He joined MIT, Pune in the year 2006. He is teaching subjects associated with Building Design and Drawing, Building Planning, Architecture & Town Planning and Building Materials and Introduction to Civil Engineering. He had presented research work in India and abroad in reputed International conferences and published work in peer reviewd International Journals. In the year 2016, he had presented research paper at International conference held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has published 05 papers in International journals and 05 papers in International conferences. His area of interest is energy simulation of buildings, building physics, GIS based studies.
